DCHub Java is a server software based on the Direct Connect protocol, which is developed by Neo-Modus. The server this page is about is an open source package written in Java for maximum compatibility with all platforms. It is meant to be simple and very basic. It was written only as a quick hack to turn my UMAX (Apple clone) into a server.
There is already a better working Direct Connect Hub written in Java out there. I didn't know about it when I first started out this project, and now I kinda enjoy the results of my hard coding, so I'm publishing this and showing you the ugly source (I'm not really a Java coder, so it's really messy) for fun. The other project is available at http://sf.net/projects/shastahub/.
The latest release of my own server is available at SourceForge as well.
